My Heart is yours. Part 11.

Hayley is one tough little red-head!
I thought I would be nice and upload again since I won't be on tonight. and many of you are loving this story! I'm sooooo happy! thank you to all that bring me some feedback! :D
Half of my classes have gone by, I’ve already been called names, people have been gossiping about me for 3 hours now. I’ve only been here for a day.
I heard Jenna and her friend whisper behind me, “She’s so ugly, it’s ridiculous.”
The whole class period I heard her snicker with her bottle-blonde friends. Finally the bell rang and I was out of there. I hobbled out and went to my locker, only to be approached my Taylor. He tried to act all cool as he leaned against the locker next to mine.
“Hey Hayley. So whatta say if you and I go out this Friday.” He wiggled his eyebrow and winked, trying to show his charming side.
I smiled, “First off, you wouldn’t go with a cripple. Second off, you try to hard.”
Jeremy and Josh came out laughing their butts off. Was it something I said?
“SHUTDOWN by cripple!” Jeremy laughed and gave Josh a high-five.
“You guys are so mean. I already hear enough vulgar comments. I need you guys to say it too.” I pouted. Back home they called it the ‘famous hayley pout.’ because whenever I used it, I normally got my way.
I heard a little choir of aw’s and sorry’s. I laughed, “Guys I’m kidding, it’s fine.” I shoved books into my locker and grabbed the other ones, throwing my bag over my shoulder, I hobbled off to class.
I overheard Taylor saying, “Man, I was hoping she’d say yes. You guys suck.” I snickered and finally made my way.
Lunch Time:
Josh was ever so kind and carried my lunch tray to the table for me. “You guys sure you don’t mind that I sit here? I mean… I don’t wanna be the girl that ruined the guy clan here,” I smiled at all of them.
“Nahh, don’t worry about it! You’re one of us, and apparently we’re liked in this school.” Zac said- stuffing more food in his mouth so it was impossibly to understand him.
Jeremy and Taylor looked at Zac, kind of grossed out. I find it funny they all eat just like him though. I’m questioning if Josh is gay since he is fairly neat when he eats. He always wears really tight jeans… His hair is always perfect..
I looked up at him, “Please tell me you aren’t gay.”
The whole table roared with laughter except for Josh and I.
“What makes you think I’m gay?”
“Jee I don’t know, the perfect hair, the tight jeans, the eating really neat.” I laughed.
“Oh, sorry. I’ll start dressing like Chad then.”
I dropped my fork on my tray and froze, “Please, please don’t.”
“Are we missing something..?” Jeremy said as he looked at Josh and I staring at each other, Josh showing payback, me showing fear.
“I’m kidding Hayley I would never do that, believe it or not skinny jeans are comfortable.”
“Yeah, yeah,” I said, my voice shaking. I finished my food and picked up my schedule, trying to memorize it. Then, Jenna walked by and mumbled, “What a nerd.”
That’s it. I can’t deal with her anymore. I stood up in my chair and slammed my book on the table, not caring if the whole lunch room was looking or not, “STOP IT. You are calling me a nerd for actually wanting to be successful!?? You’re also calling me ugly? Have you looked in the mirror? Your hair is bleached, your eyelashes are FAKE, you stuff your bra, and it’s COMPLETELY obvious, you wear skirts to show off your non-existent butt, and you hit on every guy you see! Listen honey, I’m not going anywhere. You have something to say- say it to my face and stop being a coward. You tear people down to bring yourself up. Listen here bud, you’re gonna be a nobody when you’re older. No one is going to like you, and no one does now. You honestly think these two wannabes are your friends? No, they aren’t. They just want to be “cool” or “popular.” They could careless if you dropped off the planet of the earth. So go ahead, make your remarks to my face. Don’t like the pressure do you?” I stared at her, anger running throughout my entire body.
She stared at me in shock, she opened her mouth as if she was about to say something, but then closed it again. She was defeated.
She walked away, sulking. Josh was amazed. He looked at me in shock and stood up, clapping. The rest of my lunch table stood up- joining him in the “thunder-clap.”
Soon enough, the whole lunch room was clapping. Some kids even had tears in their eyes. It’s sad to see a high school like this.
